Illustrated Brand World, Storytelling, Packaging, Retail and Animation
The illustrated world was adapted into large-scale outdoor materials in Shanghai, turning the narrative sequence into a physical presence in the city. The images do not live only as isolated illustrations, but become part of the environment, bringing the brand into real, visible spaces.
The client also developed an animated version based on the illustrated world and the original story. The animation extends the project beyond static images, turning characters, landscapes and small narrative details into a broader and more dynamic brand story.
The illustrations were applied to packaging, gift boxes and small physical objects, bringing the story into a tactile brand experience. Each element keeps the narrative tone of the project while also working as part of a wider visual system.
The story was built as a sequence of scenes, each accompanied by a short written moment created for the booklet version. The colour storyboard shows the structure of the narrative and how characters, nature, animals and objects come together to form the visual world of the project.
Early storyboard sketches and development. This stage helped define rhythm, composition and narrative sequence before moving into the final version of the images.
Zhaori Weipin Summer/Fall is an illustration project developed for a premium Chinese dairy brand.
Starting from an initial client brief, I created the entire narrative and visual world of the project: the seasonal story, the sequence of scenes, the short texts created for the booklet version, the characters, environments, objects and all the final illustrations.
From this narrative and visual foundation, the language was then extended into a wider system of applications: packaging, gift boxes, objects, outdoor materials, retail spaces in Shanghai and animation.
The goal was not to create a single isolated image, but to build a coherent and flexible illustrated world, capable of working across different media and scales, from physical products to spaces, from printed storytelling to animated communication.
The client also developed an animated version based on the story and illustrated world I had created, further expanding the project into a broader narrative brand system.
